Shipping & Delivery Policy

This Shipping & Delivery Policy ("Policy") governs all orders placed through www.populateware.com ("Site") by customers in Singapore and internationally. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. This Policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms & Conditions and Returns Policy.

Shipping Destinations

Populate ships worldwide from our Singapore warehouse. While we deliver to most countries, certain restrictions may apply. If you encounter shipping limitations during checkout, please contact us at hello@populateware.com and we will endeavor to accommodate your request.

Shipping Costs

  • Singapore: Free standard shipping on all orders over SGD $200.
  • International: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination, weight, and dimensions of your order. For oversized furniture pieces, additional shipping charges may apply and will be communicated during order processing.

Fulfillment

  • Local Orders (Singapore): In-stock accessories are typically dispatched within 2 – 5 business days. For furniture, delivery scheduling will commence upon production completion; however, final delivery dates are subject to local carrier availability and site access.
  • International Orders (Small Items): Standard items are shipped via our international partner. Risk of loss and title pass to the customer upon our delivery of the goods to the carrier.
  • International Orders (Large-Scale/Furniture): Due to the specialized nature of metal-ware logistics, furniture shipping is treated as a bespoke freight arrangement. Quoted prices at checkout may exclude specialized crating and heavy-freight surcharges. Following order placement, we will coordinate with you to finalize a logistics plan. We reserve the right to cancel the order and provide a full refund if a mutually agreed freight solution cannot be reached.

Order Processing

We require 2 - 5 business days to process in-stock orders before dispatch. You will receive: Order confirmation email upon purchase

Delivery & Receipt

  • Singapore: Delivery is typically to your doorstep. For larger items, our team will contact you to schedule delivery.
  • International: Delivery methods vary by location and carrier. Signature may be required upon delivery.
  • Important: Please inspect packages upon receipt. Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before signing.

Customs, Duties & Taxes

International Orders: You are responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees in your country. Populate ships under Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) terms. We cannot predict these charges - please consult your local customs authority.

Risk & Ownership

Under Singapore law, risk of loss or damage to goods passes to you upon delivery. Title to the goods transfers when we receive full payment.

Shipping Delays & Force Majeure

While we strive to meet estimated timeframes, Populate shall not be liable for delays caused by:

  • Customs processing
  • Weather conditions
  • Carrier disruptions
  • Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Damaged Goods

In accordance with Singapore's Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act:

If your order arrives damaged:

  • Contact us immediately at hello@populateware.com within 48 hours of delivery
  • Provide photos of the damaged item and packaging
  • Include your order number and contact information

    We will promptly arrange for inspection and resolution, which may include replacement, repair or refund.

Changes to Shipping Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Policy. Continued use of our Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
