Care & Maintenance

  • Daily Cleaning: For regular maintenance, we recommend using a soft, microfiber cloth dampened with water or a mild, pH-neutral detergent to remove surface oils and smudges from both the metal and glass surfaces. Never use abrasive pads, steel wool, or scouring powders. These will cause permanent scratches and dull the specific luster of the finish
  • Disclaimer: Please note that the use of third-party cleaning agents or chemical coatings is at the user's discretion. Populate cannot be held responsible for changes in surface luster, discoloration, or adverse reactions caused by these

The Gajah 1 is a low coffee table that embodies strength and robustness. Its monumental structural form is a direct nod to the robust layering of bamboo scaffolding, a distinct and honest construction method.

This functional structure is a showcase of material harmony. The table's masculine welded metal frame finds an elegant balance with two separate, circular glass tops. The thoughtful combination of these elements creates a visually pleasing and highly practical surface.

What distinguishes the Gajah 1 is a richness observed only up close. Its structure is built from octagonal metal poles, each a testament to meticulous workmanship—formed from eight bent and welded sheets of steel—elevating it to an architectural statement.
